The joint award ceremony for the Women in Science Baltic Fellowships laureates will take place on October 1, 2026 at 13:00–15:00 at the Estonian Academy of Sciences (Kohtu 6, Tallinn).
The contest for Women in Science Baltic Fellowships is co-organised by the Baltic National Academies of Sciences and Baltic National Commissions for UNESCO.
The aim of the fellowships is to enhance the visibility of female scientists, promote gender equality in the scientific world, and inspire the next generations of researchers. The fellowship is awarded in recognition of previous work and to support the execution of a one-year research project as described in the application.
Estonian fellowships are funded by the Ministry of Education and Research. Latvian fellowships are funded by the Ministry of Education and Science. Lithuanian fellowships are funded by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sports.
