The Academy of Sciences rents out its hall for diplomatic, scientific and cultural events.

The Hall
The hall is an expansive and luminous neo-renaissance space, exuding grandeur with its large mirrors gracing the walls. It offers a splendid panorama of Tallinn's Old Town from both its windows and balcony, creating an enchanting atmosphere for any event.
In the hall there are:
- 100 chairs
- Piano
- Lectern
- Oval table (length 230 cm, width 100 cm, height 76 cm)
- Two standard-size flag stands on the floor
- A 65" television set suitable for use as a projection screen
- Armchairs and tables in various sizes for meetings or panel discussions
- Tables available for the use technical equipment (no table covers or technical equipment provided)
- WiFi and wired internet if needed
- There is no conference equipment in the hall.
Room capacity: 126 square meters
- Theatre-style seating: Up to 100 guests
- Banquet style dinner seating: Up to 80 guest
- Stand-up reception: Up to 150 guests
Please be aware that there is no forced ventilation on the premises. Additionally, due to the original parquet flooring, which is over 150 years old, dancing is prohibited in the hall. On weekdays, music is allowed in the hall from 16.30.
If necessary, the user of the hall can also use the adjoining rooms (included in the rental price):
- Foyer
- Board room
- Academicians' room and an adjacent room next to it (usable as a staff lounge)
- Cloak room
The Foyer
The foyer (50 square meters) is suitable for registration and welcoming guests.
We provide the following amenities for your use:
- Two tables (length 121 cm and width 60 cm), suitable for arranging distribution materials and organizing registration.
- Two molbert tables equipped with A2 format cork boards. These Molberts can be used to display event posters or other informational material in both portrait and landscape formats.
The Board Room
Next to the hall, there is an elegant representative room (53 square meters) with a large oval table (length 397 cm, width 116 cm and height 77 cm), comfortably seating 12 people. Additionally, the room is well-suited for catering events within the hall, coffee breaks, buffet setups, and more.
The Academicians' Room
Next to the Board Room, there is a room measuring 32.5 square meters, which is suitable for storing event-related items and catering services.
The Adjacent Room
Between the foyer and the Academicians' Room is a smaller room measuring 20.5 square meters, which can also be accessed directly from the hall. The room can be utilized for storing event-related items, offering a convenient solution for organization. Alternatively, it provides an intimate setting for hosting a coffee break for a smaller group of participants.
Cloakroom
The unattended cloakroom features 120 unmarked hooks.
HALL RENTAL PRICING
The rental fee for the hall is 200 EUR per hour (plus VAT). The same rate is applied to additional mandatory costs that include 1 hour of preparation and 1 hour of cleaning. The daily rate is 1200 euros for 6 hours, plus VAT. Discounts up to 20% are available for cultural events.
PARKING INFORMATION

While parking spaces in the Academy's courtyard are limited, we can offer up to 3 spaces for event organizers upon prior arrangement.
