The first Finnish-Estonian neuroscience conference, FinEst Neuro Meeting 2026, will take place on 19–20 October at the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Kohtu 6, Tallinn. The conference will bring together leading neuroscientists from Estonia and Finland to present the latest developments in the field, exchange knowledge, and create new opportunities for cross-border scientific collaboration.
The two-day conference will offer a broad overview of contemporary neuroscience, ranging from the fundamental mechanisms of nervous system function to understanding and diagnosing brain disorders and developing new treatments. The programme will cover topics including neuronal plasticity, brain development and ageing, neurodegenerative and neuropsychiatric disorders, neuropharmacology and genetics, as well as the applications of artificial intelligence in neuroscience.
The conference aims to strengthen ties between the Estonian and Finnish neuroscience communities, bring together researchers from different areas of the field, and foster new joint research projects and collaborative networks.
Attendance is open for speakers and for one speaker’s group member. The conference will be streamed live on this website. The link will be published one week before the conference.
